Suggested Rest Days - Bude sits roughly half way along the route with lots of facitilies and places to explore. Boscastle and Port Isaac are both stunning unspoilt harbour villages with good accomomdation and restaurants - well worth a rest in Tintagel for those who want to spend time exploring King Arthurs Castle, Rocky Valley and this dramatic historical area.

 

Suggested "Highlight" Short Breaks on this section of the Cornish Coast Path

Try Hartland Quay to Padstow 5 or 6 days walking from the very start of Cornwall at the Cornish Border with Devon - to finish at the Cosmopoliton harbour of Padstow.

Or Bude to Padstow 3 or 4 days walking along the most dramatic sections including Boscastle, Tintage and Port Isaac but with easier arrival and departure options

Saints Way CrossAdd some inland variety to your coast walk by extending your walking holiday from Padstow onto the 2 or 3 day Cornwall Coast to Coast route The Saints Way Running from Padstow at the end of the South West Coast Path section leads to the stunning natural harbour at Fowey on the south Coast.

Inland Tors, Holy Wells, little visited villages are linked by old drove roads, ancient paths and tracks over 28 miles in a stunning and very different two days walking through remote Mid Cornwall.
