Fowey Estuary Walk

Spend 2 or 3 days journeying with the mighty Fowey River from its inland valleys to its dramatic meeting with the sea at Fowey. Staying in idyllic creek side villages, and wandering dense woodland, rolling heath land and the inlets and pills of the estuary. The whole route is a protected area of outstanding natural beauty rich in wildlife, history and unforgettable panoramas, all encountered on a walking break in this very special place.

Daphne du Maurier Walk

Exclusive to Encounter Cornwall a 2 day walking break linking the scenery and locations that inspired the writer. From windswept Castle Dor through Fowey to Menabilly and beyond, a mix of inland estuary, heath land and her beloved cliffs and coves en route.

Encounter Eden Trail

On this 2 or 3 day walk, after visiting this amazing project, sample the best of the area en route using ancient woodland sections of the Saints Way and an overnight stay with the tall ships in Charlestown. Then into the Daphne du Maurier sections of the Coast Path with options to extend into the protected Fowey Estuary.
